OSHA 30-HOUR CONSTRUCTION Training
- This 4 or 5-Day OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach Safety Training program is a comprehensive safety program designed for business owners, general contractors, job foremen, field supervisors, safety officers or anyone in a supervisory position at a job site. Most large construction projects are now requiring supervisors to have completed the OSHA 30 Hour Safety Training Program as part of a continuing effort to reduce accidents, incidents, injury and death on job sites. This program provides complete information on OSHA compliance and safety at the workplace. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Programs as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
- Considered "the standard" in Construction Industry, this OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Safety Training provides a strong foundation upon which employers and their employees can build a safe working environment. This course has been designed so that students learn through class interaction, personal experiences, videos, photographs and hand-outs. All of which are meant to reinforce the topics covered. Each student receives their own copy of the OSHA Code of Federal Regulations Manual for Construction (29 CFR 1926). Students learn how to locate specific OSHA regulations within the OSHA 29CFR 1926 manual and how each standard relates to their trade. Course Topics: (*Topics Required by OSHA)

OSHA 30 CARDS:
Students who successfully complete 30-Hour OSHA training will receive an official OSHA 30 card from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). After successfull completion of this course, students will receive a temporary card to carry and present as proof of training, if needed, while you wait for your official card to arrive in the mail.
Course Objectives:Upon completion of either of these courses, participants will be able to:
- Become more accountable for their safety & the safety of others on the job. - Understand how to identify, avoid, prevent and control hazardous situations. - Better understand the function and role OSHA plays in worker safety. - Appreciate the cost of an accident or injury to his employer and himself. - Demonstrate through a written exam their understanding of safety in the workplace. Minimum Class Size: 10 Maximum Class Size: 40 Hours: 30 (held over 4 or 5 days per OSHA) Pricing: Call for pricing. The 30 hours are instruction hours only per OSHA. Per OSHA, Instructors must provide breaks including 30 minutes for lunch. Breaks are over and above the 30 hours. Instructors are allowed to teach up to 7 1/2 hours per day.

Private Sessions: Safety Equipped, Inc. will conduct a class at your business location and try to work around your production schedule.
OSHA 30 cards currently do not have an expiration date. However, some States may have a refresher. Check with your State to see if you need to take a refresher course.
