OSHA 10-HOUR TRAINING FOR CONSTRUCTION

OSHA 10-Hour (2 day) Outreach Safety Training for Construction This 2-Day, OSHA 10-Hour Outreach Safety Training program is designed by OSHA for construction workers, foremen, job supervisors and anyone involved in the construction industry. The goal of this OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Safety Training course is to help employers and employees identify, avoid, prevent, and control hazardous situations in the work place.
Considered "the standard" in the construction industry, this OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Safety Training provides a strong foundation upon which employers and their workers can build a safe working environment. This safety awareness class could help reduce or eliminate employee injuries, workers' compensation claims, potential lawsuits, property damage, and the need to hire and train replacement workers. Course Objectives:Upon completion of either of these courses, participants will be able to:
- Become more accountable for their safety & the safety of others on the job. - Understand how to identify, avoid, prevent and control hazardous situations. - Better understand the function and role OSHA plays in worker safety. - Appreciate the cost of an accident or injury to his employer and himself. - Demonstrate through a written exam their understanding of safety in the workplace. Minimum Class Size: 10 Maximum Class Size: 40 (per OSHA) Length of Class: 10 (held over 2 days per OSHA) Pricing: Call for pricing.
10 hours is for instruction only. It does not include breaks. Per OSHA, Instructors must provide breaks including 30 minutes for lunch over and above the 10 hours.
Topics Include:- Introduction to OSHA *- Electrical*- Fall Protection *- Struck By *- Caught in/between *- Stairways & Ladders *- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) *- Health Hazards in Construction (e.g., noise, hazard communication and silica) * Elective topics include: Material Handling, Storage, Use, and Disposal; Tools - Hand & Power; Scaffolds; Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators, & Conveyors; Excavations; and Stairways & Ladders; MEWPs; and more ... *Topics Required by OSHA
Class Location: Safety Equipped, Inc. offers training throughout New England, including New York, on a regular basis. Locations include Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and New York.
Private Sessions: Safety Equipped, Inc. will conduct a class at your business location and try to work around your production schedule. OSHA 10 cards currently do not have an expiration date. However, some States may have a refresher. Check with your State to see if you need to take a refresher course. OSHA 10 CARDS:Students who successfully complete 10-Hour OSHA training will receive an official OSHA 10 card from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). After successfull completion of this course, students will receive a temporary card to carry and present as proof of training, if needed, while waiting for your official card to arrive in the mail.
ALL CLASSES ARE CONDUCTED IN ENGLISH.
