Bucket Truck Training

Course Description:

This program is designed to instruct bucket truck operators in the safe operations of a bucket truck. This course consists of classroom training, video presentation, written exam, hands-on training that includes site hazard evaluations, pre-operation equipment inspection, equipment function test and an operations performance evaluation of each operator. A written test, a hands-on performance evaluation and a photo identification “Certificate of Completion” wallet card will be given to each participant upon successful completion of this course. Employers will receive a roster list and course evaluation forms. Re-Training is every 4 years. Course Materials Provided: - Bucket Truck Safety Handbook. - Certificate of Training Wallet Card. Minimum Class Size: 5 students Maximum Class Size: 12 students Time: Approximately 4 Hours (depending on class size) Cost: Call for Pricing **You must have equipment (bucket truck) on site for the hands-on training portion of this course.

Course Objectives:Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:- Identify the various parts, components and equipment used on bucket trucks and their applications.- Identify hazards associated with bucket truck operations.- Conduct a site inspection, pre-start equipment inspection and an operations function test.- Demonstrate through a written exam and hands-on training their understanding of safe bucket truck operations.
