Bill Kershaw
Safety TrainerOSHA Outreach Instructor
Over the years and before starting his own business, Safety Equipped, Inc., Mr. Kershaw had worked for Shaughnessy Crane Service, NES Rentals as well as Sunbelt Rentals in all phases of construction and manufacturing equipment rentals and sales. In that time he has held positions in operations management, dispatch, sales, and safety training. He has vast experience and knowledge in the safe operations of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (a/k/a aerialift) and Forklift equipment. Bill is a certified “Train-The-Trainer” for all models of MEWPs and forklifts. His equipment knowledge includes such manufacturers as JLG, Genie, Terex, Lull, Gradall, Skytrak, JCB, Grove, Skyjack, Komatsu, Yale, Crown, and Case. With his thorough “hands-on” approach to training, your employees will have a complete understanding of the hazards and safe operations of the equipment for which they have been trained.
Bill expanded his interest in safety when he became an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer. This allows him to teach both the OSHA 10 hour and OSHA 30 hour courses in the Construction, General, and Manufacturing Industries. He is also a member of The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and the National Safety Council (NSC) which keeps him informed of new OSHA standards and procedures.
With Mr. Kershaw's hands-on equipment experience and safety knowledge combined, your employees will gain new knowledge of work place hazards, how to follow safety procedures, and the safe operations of the equipment that they use.
